is very good at delivering a lecture definitely the best i have come across
doesn't prepare what he presents in terms of checking if its a fact or fiction and often lacks the expertise to do so but do being a good speaker can easily pass of fiction as being a fact and vice versa
Is amazing when it comes to skills of delivering a lecture. Goes well out of his way to ensure his student do well, will gives access to confidential unpublished working papers
Is quite weak in his research, his sources lack creditably so one needs to remain vigilant
His lectures are very interesting and he will ensure no one falls asleep regardless of the group size
His sources for Islam are questionable and very weak basically outside the lecture hall they are not even considered valid
Dr Mustapha Sheikhs lectures are very interesting and detailed
He can be quite arrogant especially when questioned
I am actually a Masters student and have thoroughly enjoyed Dr Sheikh's well researched, well developed, robust arguments. His findings are well researched and substantially evinced from within traditional resources. It is of a highly academic calibre so its clear that those who do not do the reading and are dogmatic and narrow minded, refusing to LEARN, will not fair well.
Dr Sheikh's classes are where dogma goes to die a painful death. Thats bad for some people. Seminars can be a little boring because they tend to be student presentations.
Well Planned Lessons Well Resourced Well Delivered Thought Provoking Inspiring
Seminars are student led
Dr Sheikh doesn't hide anything. I have studied Islam traditionally for over a decade and have seen how knowledge is concealed. Dr Sheikh is a brave man with no anxieties about empowering people to know Islam FULLY. His evidences are strong and he is meticulous in his research. He is not looking for a following.
Professor Sheikh is very knowledgable on Islam especially legal theory. I have never experienced a class like it.
Not all students seem to understand which is a struggle for professor Sheikh. It's a shame as he is very clear.
I graduated last year and I still remember Dr Sheikh's lessons and still find him available and helpful in giving me advice and guidance on what I do next. His lectures were always the highlight of my week.
Sometimes the VLE wouldn't be updated regularly.
An amazing lecturer always ready to go. Not shy to deal with problems within the islamic sources. Some students dont apprecite this fact. Dr sheikh always goes well out of his way to help his students to attain there best.Am amazing lecturer the seminars are always interactive. He involves everyone and listen and responds accordingly.
I actually cant think of anything.
