Sarah is an excellent lecturer, she is always prepared (more so than us for the seminars - i know, *hangs head in shame*). He subjects are so intersectional that religion, for example, can come up at any point within a seemingly unrelated topic. Sarah is a passionate feminist, and this might just be why I love her teaching so much.

A strong teacher. The lessons are always very well prepped. Be expected to read right around a subject. You're in for a informative ride! Marking is very fair, in both exams and essays.

Sarah is just so smart. Sometimes you can forget how much random stuff they had to learn on the way. You could ask for an idea on readings/who to go to, and she'll drop a really random study in a completely different field, and say there's a intersection there, find it and relate it back. You do this, you hand in your paper. Boom: First
Nothing about Sarah, but it does mean that the bar is raised and many of your other lecturers will fail to meet this standard. That may become depressing. No worries, just choose all of Sarah's modules.
To be honest, Sarah's way to good for Aston. Please don't tell her or she might leave. Super smart in everything (not just religion). Really good at teaching and her marks are fair.
