Explains very well. Very engaging. Provokes thinking.
Exams are a bit hard but based on the quality of teaching, they are ok.
Everything! Concise, clear, talks about the impact of economics in the real world so you get a real sense of current affairs Did not miss one seminar due to how interesting they were
Very difficult to pinpoint any issues but maybe he should introduce more macro topics as they were very interesting
Most things! Go get your 4th PHD!!!
He seemed to love Mjmfoodie just a bit too much... but I guess you can't love something too much
Explains very well and is very enthusiastic. Clearly very interested in the topics, and always happy to go over any unclear areas
He supports West Brom, Well supported lectures, use of OHP
Exam Format Combined 3 questions in one, taking out two core topic questions that are vital to the course. Never struggled within university as much as i did on this module. (horrific considering that i have already completed a degree, and set up a graduate job with RBS) Expected students to learn at least 5/6 topics, in depth - no really fair enough. Seems like he changed the exams from 2013,2014,2015 all of a sudden. We all have other exams to study, not happy. Having not previously studied economics at A level and IBE being compulsory as part of IBAM it meant the lectures were all in dept at a fast rate. Possible for students who are studying economics but not good enough for students like my self. Lack of useful posting on Facebook and twitter. (wiki) Not happy at all, needs some improvement. We want to learn, and when you concentrate very hard but fail to succeed; the blame comes down to the individual and not the lecturer; (reading this message, i can tell you don't feel the same way) Stop drinking fizzy drinks in the morning lectures (try a coffee) Comparing Cheese and wine, is so standard; i thought you could come up with something better than that.
The quality of his lectures and explanations. The tutorials also helped me understand everything a lot more!
I had a hard time both in first and second year with the models, it would be good if more time was spent explaining them so as to avoid confusion.
Brilliant lecturer Great At Explaining Things Always Happy To Help Great Seminar Teacher Rewarding Module
Maybe 1 less question or more time to answer 3 questions in the exam. Loads of content, getting everything in during the time constraint at the exam was difficult.
I agree with with the post from IBAM (Very dissapointed)
don't get me started ...
Teaching, resources provided on blackboard and feedback.
his jokes ;D
Delivers really interesting material. Get a very strong sense that he is passionate about what he is teaching. He explains new concepts brilliantly. He challenges you to question dominant ideologies rather than just take a passive learning approach. His lectures are engaging.
He forgot to reply to an email once.
